Hi, We are staying in disney in nov 2012 and my little girl is celebrating her 7th birthday while there, she has been saving and i want to purchase a disney giftcard for her, can we purchase one in the uk to spend at disney florida. thank you xso excited x

    Hi Claire,

I have read a number of online posts that suggest Disney gift cards purchased in the UK cannot be used in the Disney theme parks in the United States.

Fortunately, my dear friend Emma, one of our lovely UK moms on the Walt Disney World Moms Panel, has suggested a few alternatives in one of her earlier posts.  Click on the link to see her response.  I am sure you will find her words of advice helpful.

Best of luck to you as you plan your November 2012 holiday and please wish you daughter a happy birthday from the entire Walt Disney World Moms Panel when her big day arrives.
