Hi. We are staying at Disney movies resort on Sunday 16th July but have booked a breakfast at Ohana on the following day. My question is do I need a ticket to have breakfast and how do I get there from disney movies resort hotel? Thanks

    Hello, Debbie!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney. In just a matter of hours, your family will be at the Most Magical Place on Earth! Just let that sink in. And you're staying at one of the coolest-themed hotels on property: Disney's All-Star Movies Resort. The larger-than-life sculptures make you feel like you've stepped right into a Walt Disney Studios animated film.

I have good news for you: You do not need an admission ticket to experience most of the restaurants at the Resort hotels, including 'Ohana. However, I recommend to my friends and fellow Guests to make an advance dining reservation to secure a seat at the table. And it looks like you've already done that, Debbie. Check!

Now, there are a couple of ways to get from Disney's All-Star Movies Resort to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, the home of 'Ohana:

Bus Transportation + Secondary Transportation: Take a complimentary bus ride to one of the four theme parks, Magic Kingdom Park, Disney's Hollywood Studios, Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, or EPCOT. From there, hop on another bus that's headed for Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. The most efficient plan of action is taking a bus to Magic Kingdom Park and then taking another bus or the Disney Resort Monorail to the Polynesian. By the way, the Monorail will drop you off on the same floor as the restaurant, which makes restaurant check-in a breeze.

Minnie Van Service, Ride-Share, or Taxi: Although this option is not free, it is the most direct way to get from hotel to hotel. You can book a ride in those iconic polka-dotted Minnie Vans by downloading the Lyft app and selecting your preferred vehicle.

AN EXTRA GEM: What I love about all meet-and-greets at Walt Disney World Resort is that the characters can sign any autograph book that you bring. But if you forget to bring one along with you, Hakuna Matata! The character dining restaurants now have complimentary illustrated and signed autograph cards. My boys love the ones they received at 'Ohana from Lilo, Stitch, and friends!

Debbie, if you have any other questions about your upcoming holiday, please don't hesitate to revisit us here at planDisney. Have an amazing time!

    Magic always,
