We are staying @ Disney in June of '10 w/ the dining plan. Is it better/easier to 'trade' the table service meals for a character breakfast, or do that separately?

    Hi Todd,

On the basic Disney dining plan, where each member of your party is entitled to one table service, one quick service (counter) and one snack per day, you can use your table service credit for any meal of the day (breakfast, lunch or dinner) that works for your family.  Most character breakfasts (Chef Mickey's, Cape May Buffet, Donald's Safari Breakfast at Tusker House, etc.) require one table service credit.  You can also "save" table service credits (perhaps by eating two quick service meals in a day) and use your credits toward a signature dining experience (which requires two table service credits) and/or toward a day in which you chose to have more than one table service meal (for example, a day on which you have a character breakfast and a table service dinner).  The dining plan is quite flexible, and you can schedule your preferred meals any time that suits your family.  I recommend making advanced dining reservations for any table service meals you plan on having by calling (407) WDW-DINE.

    Have a wonderful trip!
