We are staying at a Disney hotel and wanted to know if we will be able to ride the monorail into the park.

Hi Brandi, and Welcome to planDisney! Thanks so much for stopping by and asking this great question.

How exciting that your Disneyland Resort vacation starts in less than one week! I'm happy to hear you're staying at a Disneyland Resort Hotel. Our family loves staying at the Disneyland Resort Hotels for the added convenience and it's so nice being in the middle of the magic too! You will be able to ride the Disneyland Monorail into Disneyland Park whether you stay at a Disneyland Resort Hotel, a Good Neighbor Hotel, or another local hotel. You will need valid theme park admission and can skip the main entrance to the theme park by boarding the Monorail at the Downtown Disney District station. The station is located across from The LEGO Store and trains depart approximately every 10 minutes. The Disneyland Monorail currently runs from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and will transport you into Tomorrowland

If you happen to be staying at the Disneyland Hotel and your schedule allows for some pool time, I highly recommend checking out the Monorail Waterslides! The slides are open from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and the pool is open from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. There are also Summer Pool Parties happening at all three Disneyland Resort Hotels! You might even see some of your favorite Disney characters! I would suggest visiting the Guest Services Desk located in your hotel lobby for a complete schedule of current activities so you can plan accordingly.

I'm wishing you a pixie-dusted vacation at The Happiest Place on Earth! I hope it is filled with lots of fun and many magical memories!

    See ya real soon!
    Smiles,
    Lisa
