Hello, Susan.
I love the Walt Disney World Resort Hotel pools. I typically spend my first day and my last day on vacation lounging poolside. The pools found at a specific Walt Disney World Resort Hotel are only for Guests staying at that resort. So, technically, no you would not be able to hop over to Disney's Contemporary Resort to use their pool. There is an exception to this rule, however. If you are a Guest of a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, you have the option to
rent a cabana for a half day or full day at two Walt Disney World Resort Hotels. Those hotels happen to be Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and Disney's Contemporary Resort. This might just work out nicely for you since you were already interested in checking out the pool at Disney's Contemporary Resort. Of course, renting a cabana does come with a fee but included in the rental at Disney's Contemporary Resort is:
- Padded furniture, including chairs and couch
- Ceiling fan
- Bluetooth® speaker
- Television with cable service
- Phone for internal Resort calls
- Fruit tray
- Mini refrigerator stocked with complimentary sodas and water
- Complimentary skincare products
- Safe
Doesn't that sound like the makings of a pretty great pool day? These cabanas do typically book up fast so it's best to make reservations. If this doesn't interest you, you can still head over to Disney's Contemporary Resort any time to check it out. Maybe grab breakfast at
Chef Mickey's one morning and then head back to your resort hotel for an afternoon swim.
I hope this helps. If you have any other questions, please feel free to come back and ask.
