Hi Jan!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question! I see your vacation is
waiting just around the riverbend, so let's get right to your answer!
Jan, I have stayed at several Hilton hotels around Walt Disney World Resort, including the
Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek, the
Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista, and the
DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Orlando. While Guests of select hotels in the area may be able to enjoy some resort benefits (like
Early Theme Park Entry), the ability to charge purchases to your room is available only to Guests staying at a
hotel in the Disney Resorts Collection. It's also important to remember that while many hotels outside of the Disney Resorts Collection offer transportation around Walt Disney World, it is typically separate from Disney's
complimentary resort transportation system. I'd recommend confirming with your specific hotel what transportation options are available for the
theme parks and
Disney Springs before you arrive or when you check in to plan accordingly. Also, please keep in mind that as of June 28, 2026,
bus and
boat transportation from Disney Springs to a Disney Resort hotel is limited to Guests with a valid Disney Resort hotel, dining, or activity reservation.
During your time in the parks, I hope you have the chance to experience many of the new and newly re-imagined attractions
this summer. I just visited last month, and a highlight for me was
Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets! After enjoying this ride, I'd suggest stopping by the new
FØØD by Swedish Chef for a delicious treat. We were at
Disney's Hollywood Studios on a day when the heat index climbed above 100°F, and the Mayhem Soft-Serve Float was a refreshing way to cool off!
I hope this information has been helpful, Jan, and that you enjoy a wonderful time at Walt Disney World! If you have any other questions, please stop by to see us again here at planDisney - we're all ears!
Cheers!
Kristi
