So, Tina, let’s jump right into your question. One of my favorite pixie dust touches when arriving at a
Disney Resort is turning on the television and seeing that personalized welcome message waiting for you. It really does make the room feel like your home away from home right away!
Typically, the television will display the last names of the Guests staying in the room. If everyone shares the same last name, you may see something like, “Welcome, Smith Family!” If there are multiple last names on the reservation, the welcome message may display each of those names, connected by an and. For instance: Welcome Smith and Johnson and Carl Family!
In fact, I recently stayed at
Saratoga Springs with a friend this past weekend, and both of our last names appeared on the television when we arrived. It was such a fun and welcoming little Disney touch!
