Hi there, Angela! Welcome to planDisney, and thanks for stopping by with such a great planning question.
Well, it sounds like your planning is off to a practically perfect start! With its fantastic rooms, oh-so-fun pool area and some of the best dining options in all of Walt Disney World,
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort is the perfect pixie-dusted home away from home. If you're anything like me, food is part of the fun on a Disney vacation, and the Dining Plan makes it so easy to taste your way around the parks and Resorts. Now, let's chat about your options at your Resort!
Since you have the
Quick-Service Dining Plan, you can enjoy two meals with drinks (even alcoholic beverages, if you'd like) per day from any
participating Quick-Service dining location, and you also get one snack per day. YUM! And I think you'll be happy to hear that your Dining Plan is still accepted at three fantastic dining locations at Coronado Springs: El Mercado de Coronado, Siestas Cantina and Barcelona Lounge.
El Mercado de Coronado is the Quick-Service dining location at Coronado Springs, where you will find delicious options for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and in my opinion, one of the best Quick-Service locations on property. There is such a wide variety of meals and snacks that everyone can find something they love. I always tend to gravitate towards the Tex-Mex food options and end up with a giant pink donut as a late-night snack after the parks when I'm staying here.
Siestas Cantina is THE best poolside dining location at Disney World (Yep! I said it!) and my favorite spot at the Resorts to grab some delicious fish or shrimp tacos and a margarita or a snack. This poolside spot has a variety of quality food and drinks, so don't miss it!
Barcelona Lounge is a fabulous coffee stop with small breakfast items, such as sandwiches and pastries, in the morning and turns into a beautiful lounge with cocktails and small bites in the evenings. You will be able to use your Dining Plan snack credits here in the morning for a coffee or a tea. The Cafe Bombon (Spanish espresso with condensed milk) is absolutely delicious!
When you arrive at these dining locations, check the menus posted at the restaurants for the little purple "DDP" logo next to the items to see what is eligible for purchase using the Dining Plan. And of course, if you have any questions at all, just ask a helpful Cast Member. Bon appétit!
I hope this helps, Angela, and I hope you have the most magical and memorable visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth! Please feel free to stop by any time with any questions you may have along the way.
Chase the wind and touch the sky,
Mandy
