I am staying at Disney Colorado Springs Resort and my flight home is not until 6:00pm at night. I was wondering if I were to spend the day at Magic Kingdom could I have the Magical Express pick me up at a local resort such as The Contemporary Resort?

    Hi, Felicia!

I love when I have a later flight on my last day so I can enjoy some extra park time before heading home. It makes leaving Walt Disney World just a little bit easier!

Disney's Magical Express transportation needs to be from your home resort. This means that you will need to be back to Disney's Coronado Springs in time to catch your motorcoach to the Orlando airport. The exact time will be delivered to you in a letter a day prior to your departure, but plan on 3 hours before your flight time. Make sure to allow plenty of travel time from the Magic Kingdom to your resort. Disney's Magical Express is very punctual, so you do not want to be late and risk missing your ride! I would plan on exiting the Magic Kingdom after lunch. This will give you plenty of time without rushing.

Before heading out to the Magic Kingdom on your last day, you may want to go to the Airline Check-in desk at your resort (open 5am-noon) to get boarding passes and check your luggage (any airline baggage fees will still apply). Then, stop by Bell Services to drop off any carry-ons or suitcases that you have. When returning from the theme park, grab your carry-ons and you will be ready to head home.

Wishing you a magical stay at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort!
