We will be staying at the Disney Beach Club Villas in late August. My question relates to the park reservation system. I purchased Park Hopper tickets and would like to know if I must visit the park reserved before I can hop to another park at 2PM.

Hello, Eileen and thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question!

Eileen, a summer stay at Disney's Beach Club Villas with access to the iconic Stormalong Bay is the perfect way to soak up the Florida sun! Now, while you might want to dive into the pool as soon as you arrive, I'm sure park time is also high on your priority list, so let's talk about park hopping

Currently you DO need to visit the first park (where you hold a Disney Park Pass reservation) prior to hopping to another park at 2:00 PM. So, for example, if you're planning to have an early dinner at Magic Kingdom Park, but you hold a Disney Park Pass reservation for EPCOT, you would need to first visit EPCOT and then head over to Magic Kingdom Park. Now, Eileen, if you have made a Disney Park Pass reservation and wish to visit a different park than your original plan, you would be welcome to cancel your Disney Park Pass and rebook for a different park. HOWEVER, PLEASE make sure that you check availability prior to canceling your reservation.

Eileen, I hope this information is helpful as you're looking ahead to your August trip. Please come on back to planDisney with any additional questions. Best wishes for a Magical visit.
