Staying at the Disney Animation Thanksgiving Nov. 21-27 Have two girls and are staying in standard little mermaid.. Any tips? Worried b/c was told is long walk to the shuttle or anywhere and have a baby too. How should the crowds be? standard rooms ok?

    Hi Diana!!!

I am so excited that you get to stay at Disney's Art of Animation Resort!!  I cannot wait until my first stay there!!

The Little Mermaid Buildings are the buildings that are furthest from Animation Hall and the Bus Stops.  I would expect about a 10 minute walk from your room to the Bus Stop(s).  That section will have its own pool for you to enjoy so you will not have to worry about a long walk to enjoy a pool.  A Standard Room will be fine.  It will just put you another minute or two further from the Bus Stops.

I would expect the beginning of your trip to be very crowded as it is Thanksgiving Week.  Around the 24th or 25th the crowds should start to decrease and you should have a very manageable last couple of days in the theme parks.

Please let me know if you have any other questions!!

    Have a magical day!
