Welcome to planDisney, Leona!
You are going to love staying at
Disney’s Art of Animation Resort because you’ll be met with larger-than-life Disney and Pixar character structures around every corner. I have taken so many photos with the statues and colorful areas because it’s so whimsical there. My little ones especially love the Big Blue Pool, which is inspired by the Pixar film
Finding Nemo. It is a zero-entry pool, near an even cooler themed splash pad, that they can’t get enough of.
The only two dining options at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort are Landscape of Flavors and the Drop Off Pool Bar. These dining locations aren’t character dining experiences. I know that that’s not the news you were hoping to hear, but I do have some fun ideas for you ahead.
One of my favorite reasons to stay at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort is that it is home to a
Disney Skyliner stop. This means that you can hop onto one of the gondolas and ride high in the sky toward other hotels and Resort areas that are full of character dining experiences. For example, Disney’s Riviera Resort has one of the best character breakfast experiences on property:
Topolino’s Terrace—Flavors of the Riviera with Mickey Mouse and friends.
And if you want to find Goofy, here are the character dining experiences around property where you can find this tall fellow:
Hollywood & Vine at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Tusker House Restaurant at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park
Chef Mickey’s at Disney’s Contemporary Resort
Cape May Cafe at Disney’s Beach Club Resort
Goofy always gives the best hugs, and my favorite spot to meet him is at Hollywood & Vine because the characters switch up their costumes every season. You could return again and again and he could be in a different look. I particularly like his Halloween outfit—he’s so much fun!
