We are staying at 2 different hotels during our upcoming stay (changing hotels mid-stay). Will we be able to book all the fastpasses based on the first day of our first reservation or need to make them based on the start dates of each hotel reservation?

Hi, Christine! Thanks so much for stopping by with this great question. I love doing split-stay vacations, as it allows my family to enjoy the different amenities at multiple resorts. When we do these kind of trips, I try to plan at least one full day at each resort so we can take part in their poolside activities, crafts, and dining locations. I hope your schedule allows for relaxing days away from the theme parks, because those days really can be supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!

When we had a split-stay planned a little over a year ago, I had to make our FastPass+ selections twice - once when we were 60 days from check-in at the first resort and then a few days later when we were 60 days from beginning our stay at the second resort. It worked out fine and we were able to get all of the FastPass+ selections we wanted. However, when I made our selections last month for a split-stay we have coming up soon, I was able to make ALL of our FastPass+ choices when that first date opened! It was awesome! Based on how it most recently worked, I will say that the system will now allow you to make your FastPass+ based on the first day of your first resort reservation, as long as both of your stays are at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel. However, please understand that this could change and you may end up having to split them.

I hope this information helps you FastPass+ your way to a magical Disney day! Please let us know if you have any other questions as you plan your pixie-dusted adventures.
