I have been here staying in different condominium resorts since November 29. With my grandson while we look for a rental house. How do I prove my residency for myself and he? He does not currently drive.

    Hi Cheryl,

The Walt Disney World Resort offers special benefits for its Florida Residents, including exclusive offers and Theme Park Tickets. However, these benefits are reserved for Florida Residents only and to take advantage of these, you’ll need to provide proof of permanent residency for both yourself and your grandson.

For guests who do not have Florida residency, there are still other Special Offers available. While you may not qualify for the Florida resident rate yet, you can still enjoy other promotions and discounts offered to non-residents.

To prove residency, you typically need to provide proof of a Florida residential address. For example, for each ticket or pass purchased for an adult, you may present any of the following:

Valid Florida driver’s license (with a Florida address)
Valid Florida state-issued ID card (with a Florida address)
    Valid Florida-based military ID

Moreover, Florida residents with any of the above-listed identifications now have the convenience of verifying their residency online. You can find more specifics on the Proof of Florida Residence page.

Once you find your rental home and can transfer your information over to Florida, you will be able to take advantage of these special rates!
