Staying in a Deluxe Studio at the Polynesian Resort in December. What type of kitchen amenities are available? How does the meal plan work for 2 adults and 2 boys (age 10 and 15)?

    Aloha Robert!

I am thrilled to hEAR you have an upcoming vacation this December at Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows! This happens to be my very favorite Disney Vacation Club Resort at Walt Disney World, so needless to say I give your choice of Resort a big thumbs up!

Robert, I think your family will find the Deluxe Studios very accommodating. They feature kitchenette facilities with a small sink and mini refrigerator, as well as a number of appliances, including a toaster, microwave, and coffee maker. I find it is the perfect place for fixing breakfasts and snacks, with plenty of room in the fridge for things like milk, yogurt, fruit, and drinks.

I am also happy to hear you are thinking about the Disney Dining Plan. This is a great option for families wishing to pre-pay for meals so that during vacation there is no need to worry about budgets or calculating dining costs. Another convenience with the Disney Dining Plan is that if your teenager wishes to head out on his own at the Theme Parks or at your Resort, he will still be able to access his meal and snack entitlements with a simple tap of his MagicBand.

There are three different Disney Dining Plans to choose from, including the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan, the Disney Dining Plan, and the Deluxe Disney Dining Plan. Your choice will depend on whether you prefer quick-service meals or table service. All plans come with two snack credits per person for each night of your stay, as well as a Resort Refillable Mug which can be used for coffee, tea and fountain drinks throughout your stay.

Robert, I hope this information is helpful. Do let us know if you have any other questions, and Bon Appetit!
