With staying at a delux resort, after hours are included. Let's say we wanted to do the after hours night on a no park day, allowing us to enter at 7pm. Could we book a dinner at Crystal Palace for 6pm without purchasing a regular day ticket?

Hey there Alissa, I'd like to welcome you to planDisney!

From the sounds of it, you might be referring to a few different things here that all tend to take place under the cover of night so I definitely don't fault you for being a bit in the dark, so to speak!

The most important distinction to make as far as what's included for guests who stay at a Disney Deluxe Resort hotel, Disney Deluxe Villa Resort or a few other select hotel locations, they are eligible for what are called Extended Evening Hours that take place about about 2 hours following the posted closing time for all other day guests on select dates. In order to take advantage of this, you'll still need to have purchased valid admission in order to enter the theme parks as well as a MagicBand, Disney MagicMobile pass or Key to the World Card which will be scanned and verified by Cast Members at every attraction throughout the night.

On the other hand, it also looks like you've got Disney After Hours at Magic Kingdom Park in mind, which is a limited-capacity event that does not come included with a stay at a Disney Deluxe Resort hotel and must be purchased separately; this does however allow you access to Magic Kingdom park as early as 7:00 p.m. as you mentioned. (Since these tickets can be purchased by anyone, even those not necessarily staying at a Disney Resort Hotel, I hope you've already purchased yours ahead of your desired date if you intend on attending!)

I checked with a Guest Relations Cast Member and they confirmed that while you'll unfortunately need to have valid admission in order to enter Magic Kingdom park before 7:00 p.m, The Crystal Palace currently has dinner seating times up until 8:55 p.m. on the upcoming Disney After Hours event evenings over the next few months. To avoid having to purchase admission for the day just to enter an hour earlier in the case, you might want to explore booking your dinner later in the evening - but it'll definitely be up to you as to whether this is the most strategic way to make the most of the limited hours of the event!

I hope this helps Alissa; since there's always a chance that you mean something else completely,  please come back to planDisney and ask another question while specifying the date you're visiting just in case you need any additional details or tips from our team to make the most of that evening!

Here's to all of the fun enjoying the parks after dark!
