Staying with DDP at Wilderness lodge July 2025 on 2 bookings ( 3 adults on 1 and 2 Adults & kids on the other) , looking to understand if the adults from the other booking have the kids for the day can they access their meal credits ?

Hey there, Caroljane! Thanks for pulling up a seat at the planDisney table with your dining question today! I was so excited when the Disney dining plans returned earlier this year; I've always enjoyed the flexibility of knowing my meals and snacks have been prepaid, so I can just enjoy the moment and say yes to all the Mickey bars along the way!

Caroljane, with the Disney Dining Plan, each guest in your party will have one quick-service meal, one table-service meal, and one snack per night of your visit, in addition to a resort-refillable mug. These meals and snacks will be available all at once at midnight on the day of your check-in and unused meals and snacks will expire at midnight on the day of your check-out, offering you flexibility in how and when you redeem them!

Since you're traveling with two groups and have children that will be on the Disney Dining Plan, the children can redeem their own meals and snacks as long as they have a valid Disney Resort ID (Disney Band, Disney MagicMobile pass, or Key to the World card) to present to the cashier or server at the dining establishment. Redeeming their meals and snacks may also require them to know the PIN number associated with your Disney Resort hotel folio; I would recommend checking with the Front Desk at your Disney Resort hotel to ensure that the children have the proper PIN number attached to their resort ID form and also have the proper charging privileges needed to use their meal entitlements. Depending on the ages of the children, you may also want to share this information with the adults they will be with during the day to ensure there aren't any setbacks during mealtime!

Caroljane, since you're staying as a guest at a Disney Resort hotel in 2025, be sure to take advantage of the new complimentary Water Park admission perk offered to you on your check-in day! Your entire party can visit a Disney Water Park at no charge on this day; offering you the perfect way to splash right into the fun at no additional cost!

I hope this is helpful, and I hope your entire party has the most magical vacation, full of delicious dining experiences and yummy snacks along the way! If you have any other questions or would like any dining recommendations when it's time to make your advance dining reservations, come on back to planDisney and let me know

    Bon Appetit,
    Alison
