Hi Jesse and welcome to planDisney!
Split stays are so much fun! You get to experience two different Disney Resort hotels in one visit, which maximizes the amount of Disney fun you can pack into one vacation. We like to do split stays when we can't decide where to stay, so we let our son and daughter each choose. It's a win/win!
The perks of staying at a
Disney Deluxe Resort Hotel are only valid on the days you have a reservation, so you would only be able to take advantage of
Early Theme Park Entry or
Extended Evening Theme Park Hours on your arrival day and departure day of your one night stay at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge.
Your multi-day theme park ticket is valid over a specific range of dates, so if you would like to use those extra park hours perks at the end of your trip while you are staying at a deluxe resort, you can, depending on the first day you activate your ticket. You have four days to use a two day ticket, five days to use a three day ticket and seven days to use a four day ticket. If you have already made
theme park reservations for your trip in July, you can easily modify them in your My Disney Experience account by
viewing your plans.
I do hope you have an EPCOT day planned. The
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival will be starting at the end of July, just in time for your vacation. This is one of my favorite festivals because I just love tasting my way around World Showcase. I cannot wait to get a peek of the menus at the
Global Marketplaces for this year's festival.
Please stop back by and visit if you have any additional vacation planning questions.
Have a magical day!
Leslie
