I will be staying for 5 days after the Jan marathon. I will be going online 7/11 morning when packages open up. I read there is a special surprice if you book through i-run. Is the surprise worth waiting to book online or is it a minor memento? Thanks!

    Hi Carolyn!

Here is the information about booking your package through runDisney:

Each Guest who books through 407-WDW-IRUN and registers for a four (4) or more night stay at a select Walt Disney World® Resort hotel during Marathon Weekend will receive one souvenir runDisney keepsake gift. You can also purchase your race registration and add the Disney Dining Plan to your package when you book.

I honestly don't know what the special keepsake will be, but you can certainly ask when you call.

Occasionally, there will be some special offers that come up through Disney that may be even a better deal than what you book through WDW-IRUN.  You can keep an eye on them on the special offers page on the Disney World website.  You can usually call and change your reservation to the new deal, but I would go ahead and book my resort now before you preferred choices fill up!

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions.
