Hello there, Maryann. Welcome to
planDisney. Thanks for dropping by with your question.
I see that you are vacationing at
Walt Disney World in December, Maryann. That is a wonderful time to visit. My family and I actually spend Christmas week at Walt Disney World every year. I think you'll be so pleasantly surprised by how dressed up the Walt Disney World Theme Parks are in their holiday best. It's so festive and fun!
Maryann, when making your
advanced dining reservations you are able to make reservations for the length of your stay up to 10 days. If you are staying more than 10 days, and it sounds like you are, you'll need to break those advanced dining reservations up into two groups. You'll be able to make up to 10 days' worth of reservations 60 days prior to your check-in day and then again 60 days prior to that 11th day you'll be vacationing at Walt Disney World.
I know it might seem like a little bit of a hassle to do it this way, however, there is a big plus side too. If you aren't able to secure a dining reservation for something that you really one on the first set of reservations, you have a whole other morning that you get to try for it! You can make your advanced dining reservations starting at 6:00 a.m. Mickey Mouse's time online via your
MyDisneyExperience account or over the phone by calling 407-WDW-DINE starting at 7:00 a.m. I do recommend setting that alarm clock bright and early and trying to be online right around 5:55 a.m. as some of the best spots do fill up rather quickly and this gives you your best chance at securing reservations at places you'd really like to dine at.
I hope that this is helpful, Maryann. If you have other questions throughout the planning process, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'd love to help.
Happy planning!
Jackie H.
