    Staying at CSR, now have $$ to upgrade to deluxe resort. Monorail hotels are not available. Is Wilderness Lodge worth the extra $$? Have 2,6,10 kids and want to be close to Magic Kingdom. How long is the boat ride to MK for WL? Need to decide soon!!

    The Wilderness Lodge is a beautiful retreat!  You will feel like you are a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of the theme parks when you walk into the lobby of this resort!

    Although it is not on the monorail system the boats make getting to the Magic Kingdom easy and quick.  The trip takes about 12-15 minutes unless you just miss one and then add another 10 minutes!  But it is a fun way to catch a boat ride while at Disney!

    You can enjoy many of the resort amenities including their great pool, marina, and two of Disney's finest restaurants, Artist Point and Whispering Canyon.  Transportation to all other locations is via bus right outside the entrance and you also have the opportunity to take the walk to Fort Wilderness where there are more amazing things for your children to enjoy such as pony rides, petting zoo etc.
