staying at csr in march (w/ 22 mo old), will have car--breakfast reservation at Chef Mickey's for 7:20 a.m. How long will it take to get there (driving) rather than using Disney transpo.? Is there an advantage to using disney transp. if car is available?

    Kathleen:

I wouldn't recommend it to everyone staying at any resort, but in your case, I would definitely suggest that you take your car The Contemporary for the early breakfast reservation at Chef Mickey's.  With a little one in tow, you'd have to get up rather early to get the bus to the Magic Kingdom and then have to walk to the hotel because the walk to the monorail wouldn't be worth it!  Too many logistics for that early in the morning with a toddler in tow. Definitely take your car and you can get from your hotel to The Contemporary in 20 minutes.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
