    HI! We're are staying at the CSR later this year & booked a "preferred" room. We stayed a few yrs ago in 9A and loved the location. Do you know what bldgs are included in the pref rm rate? I called Disney and the hotel and get different in

    I am so glad you enjoyed Coronado Springs!  I've stayed there a few times and have loved it. 

    Booking rooms at this resort is a bit different than just "standard" or "preferred."  You can book a standard view room (parking lot or courtyard view), water view (lake, pool), a preferred room (could be any view, but closer to convention center.) 

    It looks like from what I found (it is all very confusing with so many room types!) that rooms in Casitas 1, 2, and 3 are the preferred rooms.   I stayed in this section and can understand why, especially if you are there for a conference since it is just steps away from the convention center.    

    I think if you request a standard or water view room in Cabanas 9B or 9A, you will probably like the location a lot.  This will put you very close to El Centro.  If you would rather be close to the Dig Site (main pool) then you might want to request Cabanas 8A. 

    Remember that all room requests are noted but cannot be guaranteed.  I hope you get the room you want and have an enjoyable stay at the beautiful Coronado Springs Resort!
