Hi. Staying at CS. On 9/10 we will spend the day at Animal Kingdom then have res at HoopDeDoo. What is the best way to get there using Disney transportation. Will be have any trouble getting a bus back to resort after the show? Thx, you guys are great!

    Janelle:

The easiest was to get from Animal Kingdom to the Hoop dee Doo Revue is to take the bus from AK to Fort Wilderness where the dinner show is located.  The bus will drop you off at The Outpost near the front the fort.  From there, you'll want to take one of the internal fort buses (the Orange Line) to Pioneer Hall and The Settlement. The internal ride is no more than 5 to 10 minutes.

You didn't mention what time you'd be out of the show, but if you go to the 5:00 show, you might want to consider taking the 10-minute walk to the Chip 'n' Dale campfire singalong near the middle of the fort's campus for the 8:00 p.m. show.  If you go to the 7:15 show, you'lll be getting out near the time the water pageant floats by the fort's pier.  (You can see Wishes from the pier, but it won't be showing until 10 p.m. that night, and might be too long a wait.)

To get back to your resort, the simpliest way is to take the boat at the pier to the Magic Kingdom and then hop on the bus to Coronado Springs!  Give yourself a good 45 minutes to an hour to get back to your room!

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
