Staying at CRB the 1st week of February. Keeping in mind the estimated 2 hour bus ride, how best do people manage to take mid-day breaks? What alternatives can you suggest if we can't leave the park? And does it really take 2 hours? Thanks!

    Hi, there!

Jaren, your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is just a few short weeks away. How very exciting! I know you'll have a magical stay at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. This tropical hideaway is one of my family's favorite Disney Resort hotels. We love the lush landscaping, the laidback vibe, and the Fuentes del Morro Pool.

Do you know what else we love about staying at a Disney Resort hotel? The convenient (and complimentary!) bus transportation to and from the theme parks and Disney Springs! I'm happy to tell you that in our experience, a bus trip to or from the theme parks has never taken us more than 30-minutes. A mid-day break is an absolute must-do for my family, so we always hop on a bus to head back to our Resort hotel for the afternoon. We usually take some time to swim (if it's warm enough) and then take a nap before heading back to the theme parks to enjoy the unique evening magic. I suppose with two trips back and forth, your total transportation time could be up to 2-hours in one day, but it's certainly not 2-hours per trip!

If you'd prefer not to journey back to your Resort hotel in the afternoon, a long lunch at a Table-Service restaurant followed by a show is a great way to get some much-needed rest. Festival of the Lion King and The American Adventure are great places to sit back and relax!

Be sure to download the My Disney Experience mobile app prior to your visit. It has lots of cool features, but my favorite is the bus time feature which is updated to let you know when the next bus will be arriving at your Resort hotel! It's super convenient.

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jaren. Please let us know if you have any other questions!
