We will be staying at CR in October and have ADV at CRT. About a year ago I overheard someone telling their experience with CRT and remember them mentioning an invitation being delivered to their hotel room. Will there be an invite delivered to our room?

Unfortunately, Disney won't be delivering an official invite for Cinderella's Royal Table to your hotel room, Christina.  I know many guests--myself included--do enjoy "arranging" little surprises like this on their own.  For instance, during our very first visit many years ago, Mickey sent my girls stuffed versions of himself along with an invitation to come see him at Walt Disney World.  Both the stuffed Mickey's and the invites were my doing, of course, but my children never guessed as much.  Perhaps if you're looking to surprise little princesses of your own, you could draft a regal invitation and leave it somewhere conspicuous in the room so that they can't help but find it.  Such a surprise is sure to delight!
