I am staying at Corondo Springs Resort. I have a 8am chef Mickey dining reservation. How do I get to the Contempory that early in morning from my resort? Are there early morning shuttles?

    Hello Michelle!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thank you for bringing your question to us.

Breakfast at Chef Mickey’s! What a great way to start your day at the most magical place on earth. We recently had brunch there and my daughter had so much fun with Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald Duck, and Pluto. One of the reasons I love character dining experiences is the opportunity to have great interactions with beloved Disney friends, and they come to your table while you enjoy a delicious meal. Chef Mickey’s is a classic restaurant and I am so excited that you will be able to dine there.

Complimentary bus service starts about 45 minutes prior to theme park opening, so if your reservation is on a day Magic Kingdom Park offers early morning Extra Magic Hours, then you can take the earliest bus from Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort to Magic Kingdom Park and from there you can take a 10 minute walk or take the resort monorail to Disney’s Contemporary Resort. I love taking that walk, but my daughter loves riding the monorail, so she usually wins.

If Magic Kingdom Park is not offering early morning Extra Magic Hours on the date of your reservation, then I recommend taking a taxi. Disney recommends that Guests arrive approximately 15 minutes before their reservation, and since the bus will start operating at around 8:15 a.m. it will not be an option.

I hope this helps you while planning, Michelle. Please stop by once again real soon! We love helping Guests plan magical memories!
