Hi, we are staying at Coronado Springs this week, and would like to try the boat and monorail transportation. I understand it isn’t direct, but today would like to boat from Epcot and then bus back to Coronado after park closes. Tomorrow, the monorail f.

    Hi Brad,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you so much for asking us a question “live” while you’re already visiting Walt Disney World Resort! I’ll admit it - I’m pretty envious right now as I look outside at another frozen Canadian winter day!

Although I don’t think I was able to get the last part of your question, I believe you’re asking about whether you can use Walt Disney World Water Transportation and the Resort Monorail system even though you’re staying at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, a Walt Disney World Resort hotel that isn’t served by these kinds of Disney transportation options.

I’m happy to say that, yes, you can absolutely take a spin on the monorail or float your cares away in a water launch or water taxi during your vacation, even if those options don’t take you to your Disney hotel. For the monorail, I would recommend taking it to Magic Kingdom Park and then taking the bus from that location back to Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. As for boat transportation, I would recommend taking it from either Epcot or Disney’s Hollywood Studios and then taking a bus back to your resort once you’re done exploring either one of those Theme Parks, for the day.

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions about this or your next Disney Parks vacation!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
