staying at the Coronado Springs Tower in May 2020, we have a dining plan, but I noticed none of them take the dining plan except the roof top restaurant. We want to be able to get breakfast and drinks with the dining plan. Do you think this will change?

Bienvenidos, Malissa! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

You are going to love the Gran Destino Tower at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort. The lobby is gorgeous, the tower rooms are so convenient to everything and you'll be visiting at a great time of year to take advantage of the pools!

You bring up an important question about what restaurants accept the Disney Dining Plan. My family and I have used the Disney Dining Plan many times and have always loved that feeling of being stress-free and pre-paid when we arrive for our vacation. While I can't guarantee that every restaurant that accepted the Disney Dining Plan in 2019 will be on the list for 2020, I can say that often restaurants just take a few weeks to show up at the beginning of a new year. Please keep checking back on the dining page to keep an eye on additions. In the meantime, I do have great news for you... El Mercado de Coronado IS on the approved Disney Dining Plan for 2020. This is a quick-service option at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner from 7:00 am- 11:00 pm. You can also refill your refillable mug while you are there! Last time I was there I had the rice bowl, and I highly recommend!

Another restaurant at Disney's Coronado Springs that is currently accepting the Disney Dining Plan is Rix Sports Bar & Grill. This is a casual dining spot where you can pull up a stool, order some Nachos and check the score of the game.

Malissa, I hope this helps in your restaurant planning for your upcoming trip. Don't forget to check back for more and more restaurants (hopefully!) to be added to the Disney Dining Plan list for 2020!

I hope you have a Magical vacation with full bellies. Come back and see us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any other questions!
