We are staying at the Coronado Springs Resort for a weekend (not going to the parks)... What's the best game plan if I want to take my son for a ride on the monorail? Do I hop on bus from resort to Epcot, or Magic Kingdom, etc... Thanks in advance!

Hi Christine! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I love visiting the Walt Disney World Resort and just doing a Resort hotel stay. It is so easy to spend all of your time in the amazing Theme Parks that I often feel like my kids don’t get to spend enough time exploring all of the other recreational activities that Disney has to offer.

If you are hoping to enjoy a ride on the Monorail you could take Disney’s Complimentary Resort Transportation to either Epcot or Magic Kingdom. I personally would take a bus to Magic Kingdom. I would then take the Resort Monorail loop. I would get off at each of the three Resort hotels on the loop and do a little bit of exploring! Maybe even catch a quick meal at Chef Mickey’s or ‘Ohana. If time allows don’t forget to head to Disney Springs to check out all of the new stores, restaurants, and entertainment!

I hope that you have a wonderful time!
