We will be staying at Coronado Springs resort Tower. Is this the last bus stop for this resort? If so, is the bus normally full when it reaches this stop near the Tower? If bus is full, how can we get to the parks early on time for rope drop?

    Hello Asharmi!

Welcome to planDisney! I love Disney's Coronado Springs Resort. Many people don't realize how lovely this Resort is and how wonderful the lobby smells. Yes Asharmi, the lobby smells fabulous.

Since this Resort only has access to bus transportation and is so large, there are multiple bus stops located throughout the Resort. I reached out to a Cast Member at Disney Transportation and found out the bus route you may be taking.

The Bus Loop is in the following order:

    1. El Centro Depot (Main Building/Convention Center/Gran Destino Tower)
    2. Cabanas
    3. Casitas
    4. Ranchos
Getting to rope drop is a big part of our Park planning and I can see why it is important for you to make it. Since the bus is starting at Gran Destino Tower the bus should not be full for your rope drop attempts. You can see when the next bus is coming through the My Disney Experience Mobile App. From the home page click on "My Resort" and then "See Bus Times." I have found the times to be pretty accurate but they tend to arrive a few minutes earlier than posted. (Which is always convenient!) I suggest you arrive with time to spare when waiting for the bus and allow for at least an hour of travel and security waits before Early Theme Park Entry so that you can make it to the front of the rope drop.

I hope this helps get you to your destination with ease and magical swiftness!

    Happy Planning!

My husband and I work very hard to journey to our favorite place on Earth, Walt Disney World Resort, as much as we can. We have traveled as just adults, with babies, kids, teenagers, and senior citizens. We have seen so many characters, eaten at amazing places, and consumed a ton of Dole Whips. So "give a little whistle" and let me be your guide! Learn More About Nimmy
