We are staying at Coronado Springs and have requested to be in the Cabana section standard view. I've heard the refurbished rooms have the shampoo/conditioner/body wash in the shower with the pump. Is this true? Trying to pack light since flying.

Hi Lynne, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

From dreamy sunrises over Lago Dorado to the best pineapple margaritas at Maya Grill to beautiful, varied landscaping and theming throughout the resort, Disney's Coronado Springs Resort truly feels like vacation. I’m feeling relaxed just picturing it!

My family recently stayed in a refurbished room in the Cabanas section, and I thought the new rooms were sensational. There’s room under the beds to store your luggage, tons of storage space, and the bathroom is so clean and modern.

The room we stayed in did have the pump dispensers in the shower, Lynne. We had shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, all in the Sea Marine scent from H2O+. My daughter has very long hair and needs lots of shampoo and conditioner, and I am obsessed with the scent of the body wash, so let’s just say we went through a lot of product that week, yet we never reached the bottom of the dispensers. Mousekeeping checks the dispensers and refills as needed, and you can also request a refill by calling them on your room phone.

In addition to the shower products, we also found an assortment of travel-sized bottles on our bathroom vanity, including body lotion, mouth wash, and solar relief gel. The solar relief gel is a personal favorite of mine – it feels ahhhh-mazing on your skin after a long day in the sun. You’ll also be able to purchase other toiletries and necessities at Panchito’s Gifts and Sundries.

Lynne, keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog, as there are lots of great things happening at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort in the coming year, and please come back and see us if you have any further questions as you plan and dream.

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
