Hello Rachel!
Welcome to planDisney!
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort is one of my family's favorite Resorts! We love the pool with the winding 123-foot-long waterslide! Look for the jaguar!
Now, if you purchased
date-based tickets,
theme park reservations are unnecessary. Date-based tickets are how traditional tickets are sold these days and you know if you have them if you purchased the tickets with an intended start date and then were provided a date range to use them. Your 4-day tickets should have a 7-day usage window which means you can use them any four days in that window. It's a bit of flexibility and a little less planning because you can now adjust your trip for bad weather, tired feet, or anything else you want to do. If you have 4-day tickets with a
longer or no expiration, then you may need to make your theme park reservations. It is a separate process from making your Resort room reservations as you now have to decide which Park you wish to visit and which day. I would not delay if this is your situation as you do not want to find the date you wish to visit booked up.
I have a good feeling you probably have the date-based tickets so I hope you don't have to worry about theme park reservations. Make sure that during your stay at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, you give yourself time to commute to the Parks if using the complimentary Disney Bus Transportation. I like to give at least an hour for the waiting time and travel to be safe. I also love to enjoy a delicious Café Bombon in the mornings from
Barcelona Lounge while waiting. It's delicious and has enough caffeine to kickstart my day.
I hope this helps and you have a fabulous time!
Happy Planning!
