Hi, We're staying at Coronado Springs before going on a 3 night Disney Cruise, we return to WDW staying at the Polynesian. To avoid taking all our luggage, can bell services send some of our luggage from one resort to the other while we're away?

Hi, Ross!  Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

It sounds like you have an amazing land and sea Disney adventure planned!  I am so excited for you; just think of all the magical memories you will be making!  Since you will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort and sailing with Disney Cruise Line during one trip, I'm sure you will be traveling with quite a bit of luggage.  I always intend to pack lightly when I travel, but unfortunately, I'm the type of person who tends to pack EVERYTHING.  Therefore, I completely understand your concern about your luggage for your upcoming vacation.

I called and spoke to a Cast Member to see if it would be possible for Bell Services to store some of your luggage at your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel for you while you are sailing with Captain Mickey.   Unfortunately, I was told that will not be possible.  Bell Services can transfer your luggage from one resort hotel to another, and they can hold your luggage for you on your check-in or check-out day.  However, they do not have the space to store luggage for longer periods of time.

My family and I have also experienced a land and sea Disney vacation.  When we pack for this type of trip, we like to pack everything we will need for our days at the Walt Disney World Resort in a separate suitcase.  Then when we board the cruise ship, we just store that suitcase in our stateroom.  We never have to worry about unpacking that extra bag.  Since the Disney Cruise Line staff transports your luggage on and off the ship, having a bit of extra luggage really does not inconvenience us.  My friend, Angie, is one of our Disney Cruise Line experts on the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  She has some great information about how much luggage you can fit in your stateroom.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
