Hiya Curt,
Welcome back to planDisney!
Disney’s Coronado Springs was the first Walt Disney World Resort Collection Hotel I remember staying at. I recently had a chance to visit it when I ate at
Three Bridges Bar and Grill at Villa del Lago, and wow, it has truly transformed! The stunning Gran Destino Tower is a site to behold, and the lobby is so unique. I know you are going to love staying there!
A visit to Walt Disney World Resort requires a lot of energy; the days tend to start early, especially if you plan to rope drop. The coffee in your room can be a welcome way to start your day. I reached out to a Cast Member to find out what kind of coffee maker comes standard at Disney’s Coronado Springs. Like you remember, resort rooms at Disney’s Coronado Springs have a K-cup Keurig Coffee Maker in the room, accommodating the standard coffee pods. In my experience, each room has a limited number of Joffrey’s coffee pods, so depending on how much coffee you consume, you might be satisfied with what comes in the room.
One last thing, Curt, if you enjoy starting your morning with coffee and beautiful views, the
Barcelona Lounge in the lower lobby level of the Gran Destino Tower opens at 6:30 am ET. It has an impressive array of coffee beverages to enjoy as well. I can just imagine how nice it would be to sit back and gaze at the Lago Dorado while you enjoy a Café Bombon and book your Disney Genie+ reservation at 7 am.
I hope this was helpful, Curt! Please come back and see us if you need anything else.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
