I am staying at Coronado Springs for the first half of my vacation and then taking a Disney Cruise. Would I be able to go back to CS when I get off the cruise and have them hold my luggage before I go back to the airport later in the afternoon?

    Ahoy there, Amy!

Welcome back to planDisney! It sounds like you're embarking on a practically perfect Land and Sea adventure—splitting your vacation between the magic of Walt Disney World and the enchantment of Disney Cruise Line? Now that’s what I call a best of both worlds itinerary worthy of a royal proclamation!

Now for the not-so-magical news: unfortunately, Bell Services at Coronado Springs will only hold luggage for current Guests on the day of check-in or check-out. So, if you’re returning from your voyage on the high seas and not staying again at Coronado Springs that night, they won’t be able to store your luggage during your post-cruise wanderings. I know that’s not the answer you were hoping for, but let’s dive in to a few ideas that might help you keep your plans afloat!

One strategy my family has found helpful is renting a car for our full Land and Sea trip. While there is a daily parking fee at Port Canaveral, having your own car gives you the flexibility to explore Orlando post-cruise—and more importantly, a place to stash your bags while you do! It can even come in handy during the “land” portion if you want to stock up on sunscreen, snacks, or maybe a Mickey tee or two!

If renting a car isn’t part of your plan, you could consider heading over to Disney Springs after your cruise. While there are no official Disney-operated luggage lockers there, I’ve seen Guests bring small to medium suitcases and take turns keeping watch while others shop or snack. There are plenty of shady benches, comfy spots to lounge, and tasty options to make “bag duty” feel more like a vacation break. (Bonus points if you're the one holding the bags and the churros!)

There are also some third-party luggage storage services around Orlando that many travelers use when they have a few hours to fill before their flight. I haven’t used them personally, but I know other Guests have had success finding trustworthy options through a quick search online. Just be sure to read recent reviews, as offerings can change.

I hope this helps you chart a smooth course as you plan your magical getaway! Whether it’s sipping a frozen treat on the pool deck or catching fireworks on the funnel, your cruise will be the perfect exclamation point to your Walt Disney World adventure. And if you ever find yourself with more questions, just sail back to planDisney—we love helping Guests like you turn plans into pixie dust!

Sea ya real soon as May brings sunshine, magical ports, and maybe a Mickey bar or two,
