We are staying at Coronado Springs, and i see the bus pick up is on the outskirt all around the resort. Is there no pick up for parks at the front if you are staying at the tower in a preferred room? It looks like its a walk to get there on the map.

Hi there, Lindsay! Welcome to back planDisney, and thanks for stopping by with your question.

My family had an ahhh-mazing stay at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort earlier this summer. We consider this resort our "Disney home" because we have stayed there several times, but this time we stayed in the Gran Destino Tower and we loved it! I'm so excited to hear that you're going to stay there later this year.

You're correct that Disney Bus Transportation makes a loop around Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, with stops at each section. On our most recent visit, the stop in front of Gran Destino Tower was the last to leave for the theme parks, meaning we did not have to circle the resort before departing. On the way home, though, we did stay on the bus as it stopped at the Casitas, Ranchos, Cabanas, and finally, Gran Destino Tower stops - but this circle was rarely more than 5 minutes total on the bus (unless a little extra time was needed for an ECV-using Guest to board). Honestly, this was no problem for my family - we were usually pretty tired after theme park fun and enjoying the air conditioning. You also have the option of getting off at Casitas and walking through the resort to the Tower, which is probably a 5-8 minute walk. I would sometimes do this if I wanted to stop to refill my Resort Refillable Mug or pick up a snack. The Gran Destino Tower stop is located just outside the Tower entrance and to the right - a quick walk from the elevators.

Linsday, the bus stop order and direction is subject to change, but I have consistently experienced the stops in this order over the years. You can always check with the Cast Members at the front desk, located right in the tower, if you have any questions about navigating Disney Bus Transportation. You can also use the My Disney Experience mobile app to check bus arrival times - you can find that information under "Resort Hotel."

Enjoy your time at this gorgeous resort! I can't get enough of the relaxing vacation vibes created by the lush landscaping, stunning design, resort music loop, and fabulous Mexican-inspired food. If, like me, you love coffee, do not miss Barcelona Lounge. I could drink their Cafe Con Leche every day forever!

As you count down the days until your visit, please come see us again if we can answer any further questions! I also highly recommend reading the Disney Parks Blog for all the latest news and fun planning tips.

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Robyn
