    Mellissa from TX Asked

Staying @Coronado Springs, but arrive & head to Animal Kingdom before actual check in time. We plan to park hop. What are parking options for personal vehicle and/or resort bus transportation on that first day? Are parking fees included that morning?

Hey there, hi there, ho there Mellissa! Thanks for stopping by planDisney where you're always welcome as can be.

You must be so excited that your vacation is just a few weeks away. Let the final countdown to magic begin! Whether I arrive by car or plane, as soon as my feet hit the ground in Walt Disney World, they are ready to get to a theme park. Your question reminds me of a recent stay in which I met up with some fellow panelist friends who had flown in from the west coast the night before I arrived. I pulled into Disney's Coronado Springs Resort via Disney's Magical Express® around breakfast time, dropped my bags with Bell Services, and hopped a bus to Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park without even seeing my resort room first. I just couldn't wait to join in the fun, and was enjoying coffee with my best Disney pals at Creature Comforts just a couple hours after landing in Orlando.

Mellissa, as my story illustrates, your Disney fun can begin hours before official check-in. You are welcome to begin using your resort's amenities, parking lot, swimming pool, and transportation as soon as you like on check-in day. If you have completed online check-in you will receive a text when your room is ready so you can bypass the front desk and go directly to your new home. When you enter Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, let the parking attendant know that you are checking in. You may need to show identification and either a MagicBand or reservation information in My Disney Experience upon entry, so it's best to be prepared with those items. The daily resort parking fee will be added to your folio and charged at check-out.

I hope this is helpful as you get ready for your spring adventure. To make the time go even faster, I recommend following planDisney on social media and checking out the Disney Parks Blog. Their recent Foodie Guide to the Taste of EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival gave me quite the rumbly in my tumbly.

Thanks again for stopping by, and we'll see ya real soon!
