Hi Kathleen!
You are going to adore your meal at the Beach Club Resort! Breakfast at the
Cape May Buffet is sooo much fun and the food is absolutely delicious. You have a couple of different options when traveling to your character breakfast - taking Disney transportation or taking a taxi. While Disney transportation does not offer child restraint seats, we have honestly never used them while in Disney World. I am the kind of mother that never leaves the driveway until her kiddos are safely buckled in, but Disney transportation simply doesn't give you a choice!
If you opt to take the Disney bus, simply take the bus headed to the Blizzard Beach Water Park and then transfer to a bus headed to the Beach Club. Not including time spent waiting for the buses, this route will take about 38 minutes. On the other hand, taking a taxi directly to the resort is only a quick seven minute trip! Coronado Springs is a huge convention resort, so taxis are plentiful and a Cast Member will be happy to hail one for you.
I would recommend using only Yellow Cabs, as they are owned and operated by the Mears Company. All others are individually owned and may not even have meters! I would ask the approximate cost before you get in - you will also need to figure in a 15% gratuity as well. Most cabs will have a child restraint seat available - I've seen many that keep them in their trunk. If you would like to call ahead and request a seat, just call (407) 699-9999. Have fun!
Much pixie dust,
Jackie S.
