Staying at Coronado. Can we just grab food at the Pepper Market and run or do we have to sit down to eat?

Hello Jillian!  The Pepper Market offers a wide variety of foods, and it works differently than most quick service restaurants.

When you arrive at the podium, you will get a ticket that you take to the various stations with you. When you choose your meals, the cast members at each station will stamp your card. When you're ready to pay, take the card to the register. If you eat inside the restaurant, there is a mandatory gratuity because a cast member will bring your drinks and clear your plates.

If you don't want to eat in the restaurant, just let the cast member know when you arrive. They will stamp your card "TO GO", and the cast members at the food stations will box your food in take-out containers. If you get your food to go, you don't pay the gratuity.

I would suggest getting your food to go and enjoying one of the tables outside if the weather is nice. There are many tables overlooking the lake which offer a great view while you enjoy your meal.

    Have a great trip!
