Staying at the Coronado, we have a character breakfast at Chef Mickey. I have a 3 1/2 year old and a 7m old. I was hoping to NOT bring car seats on the trip, is there a great way to get there without a taxi?

    Hi Stephanie!

Chef Mickey's is one of my family's favorite dining experiences at Walt Disney World Resort and I think your family will love this character breakfast with Mickey and friends too! One of the fantastic things about Chef Mickey's is its incredibly convenient location in Disney's Contemporary Resort, since the hotel is located right along the Resort Monorail and is walking distance from Magic Kingdom. I think the easiest way to travel from Disney's Coronado Springs Resort to your breakfast at Chef Mickey's is to catch a complimentary resort transportation bus to Magic Kingdom from Disney's Coronado Springs Resort. This bus will drop you off at the entrance to Magic Kingdom and then you can either make the short walk to Disney's Contemporary Resort or use the Resort Monorail to travel to the hotel, where Chef Mickey's is located right in the atrium of the main building of the hotel.

If you have an early reservation at Chef Mickey's, I recommend that you call the concierge desk at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort the night before your reservation to get the morning schedule for complimentary resort transportation buses to Magic Kingdom. Be sure to check out the new "Get Directions" feature of the My Disney Experience Mobile App, which will allow you to get directions between hotels, restaurants, theme parks, attractions and other points of interest at Walt Disney World Resort!

    T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
