Hello moms, I am staying at Cornado Springs and Jan 2010 and was wondering what building is the best to stay in with respect to distance to the main building and the pool and dining?

Hello Richard!  The Moms Panel stayed at the Coronado last year for our training and we all loved the newly refurbished resort!    I stayed in building 9B and I loved the location.  It was very close to one of the bus depots and a short walk to the main building and dining locations.  Some of the moms also stayed in building 1 and I think that was a bit more convenient to the main building.  Unfortunately neither of these buildings is very close to the main pool.  If that is most important to you, then you'll want to stay in building 8A.

The resort is large and you may want to view a resort map to see what location would work best for your family.  You can find a resort map on unofficial Disney sites such as or  Both of these websites also provide great detail on everything the resort has to offer.

I hope this helps.  Diane  :)
