Hi Jeffrey,
I am so happy to hEAR you are planning an upcoming trip to the newly opened
Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. This latest
Disney Vacation Club Resort contains a mix of rustic charm and modern touches while paying homage to the heritage of the Pacific Northwest. I have my first stay here coming up next month and I can't wait to see this beautiful resort in person!
To my mind, one of the very best ways to get to Magic Kingdom is by boat. I love staying at Magic Kingdom Area Resorts, including Disney's Wilderness Lodge, which offer this peaceful and fantastic service for guests.
While there are two separate boat launches from Disney's Wilderness Lodge, to get to Magic Kingdom, you will be looking for the boats bearing a Red Flag. While you will definitely want to check with your Resort concierge upon arrival, as transportation schedules are subject to change, currently the boat launches to Magic Kingdom normally start each day 30 minutes prior to park opening. If you are an early bird who likes to arrive at the park extra early, complimentary Disney bus transportation is also available which will generally start running one hour before park opening.
At night, Magic Kingdom boat transportation to Disney's Wilderness Lodge typically runs 1.5 hours after park closing, giving you plenty of time to make your nighttime voyage across the Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake back to Disney's Wilderness Lodge.
Jeffrey, I hope this information is helpful as you countdown to your upcoming trip to Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. Be sure to check back with us again should you have any other questions. We are here to help and want you to have a fabulous time!
Magically Yours,
Trish
