Howdy Jennifer!
You are as welcome as can be here at planDisney. I am happy to help you with your great question.
The Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney's Wilderness Lodge are some of my favorite accommodations at Walt Disney World Resort. Being immersed in the rustic elegance of this Resort reminds me of some of my favorite spots of the Pacific Northwest, with the added pixie dust only Disney can provide.
Like you, I love to mosey on over to Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground to enjoy a walk around in the fresh forest air, hunt for some bare necessities at
Meadow Trading Post or the
Settlement Trading Post, or try a home-style meal at
Trails End Restaurant. It's a great way to spend a non-theme park Disney day.
Right now, Jennifer, the
Disney water taxis that sail around Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake are not traveling in between Resorts. They only take you directly to and from Disney's Wilderness Lodge and Magic Kingdom Park or to and from Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground and Magic Kingdom Park. What you can do is ride the water taxi to Magic Kingdom Park from Copper Creek and then hop aboard one to Fort Wilderness. You will need to do the same to return home.
We don't have news at this time if the water taxis between Resorts will be returning. But for now, this is the best way to giddy up on over between the two.
I hope you have a wonderful stay at Copper Creek. Be sure and round up your dining reservation at
Whispering Canyon Cafe for a fun Western-style meal after a long day hittin' the trail at the theme parks. It's one of our favorite dining experiences at Walt Disney World Resort!
If you need any more help with your Disney vacation planning, gallop on over here to planDisney and I will be most happy to help you!
Happy trails,
Keri
