Hiya Jennifer,
Welcome back to planDisney! We are honored that you keep visiting us for help planning you and your family’s magical vacation to Walt Disney World Resort. As a frequent visitor to Walt Disney World, I’m sure you appreciate adding a new experience to your itinerary. My family and I always make it a point to try one new thing each time we visit, so I’m happy to help you learn about something new.
It sounds like your friend is pointing you in the direction of the
Tri-Circle-D Ranch at The Campsite at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort! Your horse-loving princesses will surely adore visiting the horses of Main Street, U.S.A., and of course, Cinderella’s noble steeds. At Tri-Circle-D Ranch, your daughters are welcome to visit the more than 90 horses at both the stables and the Trail Blaze Corral. They can also participate in
Pony Rides if they want a more hands-on experience! Pony Rides do not require a reservation, so you and your little ones can head to the stables near Pioneer Hall to be added to the walk-up list. This would definitely be an experience to remember, so be sure to take plenty of pictures to commemorate the day.
Before I let you go, Jennifer, I know you mentioned walking from
Copper Creek Villas and Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge to Tri-Circle-D Ranch, but a Cast Member informed me that due to construction, the walking path is not available. Also, with little legs, walking can get quite long, so I recommend taking advantage of the complimentary bus transportation from Disney’s Wilderness Lodge instead.
I hope this was helpful, Jennifer. Please come back and see us if you need anything else!
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
