Staying at Copper Creek Canyon through DVC. Flying from Canada. How long from airport to Copper Creek Canyon on Magical Express? Can we collect our own baggage from flight and take on ME?

Hey, Melanie! If you're like my family, you like to hit the ground in Orlando, and get that vacation started. We don't waste a minute, and that's a great reason to use Disney's Magical Express.

This complimentary transfer service, that takes Walt Disney World resort guests directly from the Orlando International Airport to their resort hotel, is a stress free way to kick off your vacation. The ride itself is about 30 minutes, depending on traffic, but I always suggest that you plan to be at your resort an hour after you leave the airport. The shuttles generally service multiple resorts, and if your resort isn't the first one on the stop, your actual time to your resort will be a little bit longer.

In your case, as long as your bags have been cleared at your departure airport in Canada, it isn't necessary for you to claim them in Orlando, but you are certainly welcome to do so. You'll depart your gate for the baggage claim area, and once you have your things, you head to the ground transportation area in Terminal B on the first floor. Your bags will be stored under the shuttle, and you can retrieve them when you arrive at the resort.

Guests staying at Copper Creek Villas & Cabins will be transported to the guest check-in area at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. This is where you check in for your magical vacation.

I hope everything goes smoothly with your upcoming vacation!
