Hello and welcome to planDisney, Stephanie!
As a
Disney Vacation Club Member whose "home" resort is
Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney's Wilderness Lodge I'm happy to chat with you about this property. We love the warm wood that envelopes this whole property and the cozy feel of the villas. I hope you have a Magical visit!
Now, Stephanie, since you'll be "branching out" to
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, let's talk about the walking path. Years ago there was a connected path between these two properties, however it was not illuminated. Unfortunately the path has been removed and there isn't currently a safe way to walk to your dining reservation at
Trail's End Restaurant. When we stayed at Disney's Wilderness Lodge this past summer we
DID see a bus to Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. I encourage you to inquire about the bus and its route at the front desk to make sure you allow yourself adequate time to reach your destination.
Stephanie, while this likely wasn't the news you were wishing for, I hope it's useful as you're planning for your tour of the Wilderness! If you have any additional questions, don't hesitate to hitch up your wagon and head on back to planDisney where we are happier than Bullseye with Woody when we can help a guest.
Lauren
