Hello. We staying at the Contempory Resort the first week of October with our 3 year old daughter. We reserved a parkview room and was wondering what room numbers or general area to request for best viewing of the fireworks. Thanks in advance for your help

Hi, Stephen!    My family and I stayed at the Contemporary earlier this summer and we just loved it!  My kids never tired of sitting on our balcony with the gorgeous view of the Magic Kingdom!

To make sure you have a view of the Magic Kingdom and fireworks, you need to reserve a Tower Room with Magic Kingdom view.     Any room on this side of the building will give you fabulous views.   I have heard some guests say that the lower floors have some noise due to the monorail and Chef Mickey's, but we were on the 6th floor (just above the monorail) and the noise was minimal.   It was amazingly quiet considering all the activity going on outside our door!

Although a bit pricey, we really enjoyed our room and our view.   We took full advantage of the location and watched the fireworks from our balcony almost every night of our vacation.   We slept with the curtains open so the kids could fall asleep each night with a view of Cinderella Castle - talk about a magical moment EVERY night!   The walk to the Magic Kingdom was only about 12 minutes (your princess will need a stroller, bring one from home if possible so you have it for going between your resort and the Magic Kingdom.)

I hope your family enjoys the Contemporary as much as we did!   Have a great vacation.

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
