We are staying at the Contemporay Feb. 6,7 and 8, 2014. I just found out the resort monorail will not operate from 11 to 7 on those days. How can I get my 80 year old mom back to our hotel in the afternoon from MK? Walking is not an option.

Hi Christine,

Thanks for sending the Disney Parks Moms Panel your question. Disney's Contemporary Resort is my absolute favourite Walt Disney World Resort, you are going to have a wonderful stay! Not to worry, during the hours when the monorail is not in operation, extra buses will be available to transport guests to and from the Disney Resorts affected by the temporary closure. When you exit Magic Kingdom Park simply head in the direction of the buses and your stop will be clearly marked. The closure should not in any way affect your experience.
