    Staying at the contemporary- can I view the wishes fireworks and water pageant from the standing/viewing balcony on 4th floor? What about outside by the pools? Do they still do movies under the stars in Dec? Thx!

    Hi Lori - the Contemporary Resort is one of our family favorites - I just love how the monorails wisp through the Contemporary.  You will definitely be able to see Wishes from the 4th floor balcony at the Contemporary.  In fact, it's a wonderful view!  You will not, however, have a good view of the Electrical Water Pageant.  The best view for that is out by the pool/beach area.  

    If you have a room in a tower, the Magic Kingdom view rooms will provide an awesome view of Wishes whereas the Bay Lake view rooms will have a view of the Electrical Water Pageant.

    Movies under the stars are still available, weather permitting.  Have fun at the Contemporary!!
